Instruction begins each morning at 7:40. Your child receives instruction in math, science, and social studies in Mrs. Galloway's room, and is in Mrs. Scott's room for reading, language, and spelling. Our conference time is 10:05 - 11:05 each day. During this time, the students are in p.e., computer, or music. Our lunch time is 12:15 - 12:45 each day. School will be dismissed at 2:45 each afternoon.

Your child will bring home a purple folder each Wednesday. This folder will contain all of their graded work from the previous week. Please keep all of the graded papers at home. The folder will also contain any forms or important school information. Please look over everything in the folder carefully and send back any forms or notes that need to be returned. A signature page is included in the left-hand pocket of the folder. Please sign this page each week and return it in the folder on Thursday morning.

Math homework will be assigned each Tuesday and Thursday night. Spelling homework will be assigned each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday night. All homework is due the following day, and should be written neatly in pencil. Ideally, homework should be completed at home in a calm, quiet environment, and should be checked by an adult.

Your child will bring a book order home in their Wednesday folder once a month. The due date for orders is written on the order form. Please return the payment along with the order form if you wish to participate. You may send a check made out to Scholastic, or you may send the exact amount of cash. This is a wonderful way to fill your child's home library with outstanding books for excellent prices.
