The Livingston Honors Choir is a non-auditioned group of one hundred 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. They are selected by their classroom teacher for outstanding grades and conduct. The choir meets once a week for an hour and a half after school.
This group has been a treasured part of Livingston’s holiday celebrations for many years. They present both a holiday and a spring program for the local area. In 2005 they were honored to perform for Mrs. Anita Perry.
The Livingston Honors Choir has performed at the East Texas Children’s Choral Festival in Huntsville Texas where they received very positive comments.

The choir program is a great social opportunity. Many great friendships are formed during the choir experience.

Music is a discipline. Studies show children involved in music programs have higher grades and score higher on most tests!
