The Choral Music Department of Livingston ISD is committed to the promotion of the Arts in Education through vocal performance. We are determined to increase the awareness of the community and school in regard to music and its relationship to academic achievement. We strive to enhance the quality of life of our students through performance in concerts and musical programs. Our focus includes many forms of vocal music and is not limited to one area of performance.

The Livingston High School Choir introduces and develops students in the fine art of vocal performance. The choir performs throughout the year in a variety of venues. This includes UIL competition, Christmas and Spring concerts and the occasional Houston Rockets or Aeros game.

Livingston Junior High Choir gives students a chance to experience excellence...teamwork...hard work...fun. The main gol is to train students to become skillful, sensitive vocalists who will use this experience to expand their personal standards of excellence. Activities include UIL competition and Christmas and Spring concerts.
