All-Region Choir------a wonderful success for the LHS and LJH choir programs. LISD is well represented with 11 LJH and 14 LHS students in their respective choirs.

Livingston High School choir students participated in the All-Region Clinic and Concert on Friday and Saturday, November 9-10 at the Julie Rogers Theatre in Beaumont. Students rehearsed with clinicians brought in from all over the state to conduct the Mixed, Treble and Tenor-Bass choirs. This year's participants are Casey Vickery, Shawna Hoover, Andrea Hughes, Shae Kirkpatrick, Nimi Goin, Katy Richardson, Nathan Blakley, Michael Richardson, Mark Reynolds, John Salazar, Nathan Jessup, Chris Arredondo, Bobby Key and Cody Kirkpatrick.

The LJH All-Region Choir concert was held at the Fletcher Emanuel Church Alive in Lumberton on Saturday, November 3. Students participating in these choirs were Amanda Kendrick, Aubri Alexander, laci Booth, Reagan Myers, Shayna Simpson, Steve goin, Landon Parker, Andrew Lantrip, Anfernee Wilson, Tyler Crossin, and Nicholas Robinson.

On Thursday, November 29th, four of our High School choir members traveled to West Brook High School in Beaumont to participate in the 3rd round of auditions leading up to the All-State audition in January. They were Nimi Goin, Shawna Hoover, Andrea Hughes and Nathan Blakley. Of these, Nathan was selected to proceed to the All-State audition at Deer Park HS on January 5th, while Shawna was selected 1st alternate.
