Health Careers Camp at SFA
Cost is $65.00. This includes room and meals, as well as activities and trips for the week. Additional information available by calling 936-468-6939
High School Aerospace Scholars
Participants should be high school juniors interested in math, science, technology, or engineering. This is a six day residential summer experience at Johnson Space Center. Students will be mentored by NASA engineers. Selection begins in October and November and if selected, participants begin preparation December through May with distance learning assignments. Piney Woods Health Careers Camp
July 16-18, 2008 at Stephen F. Austin State University. Total cost is $75.00 and the deadline for application is April 10, 2008. Current 9, 10, 11, 12th grade students are eligible. Applications are available in the counselors' office.
Texas A&M Camp ARCH
For students in grades 9-12 who are interested in architecture, construction science, video game design, 3D animation, or visual computer programing. Cost is $600 and the due date for applications is May 1. The camp is July 13-19th and applications are available in the counselors' office or at archone.tamu.edu/College/Academics/CampArch/
Prairie View A&M University
Research Apprentice Program for incoming juniors and seniors for students interested in a career in ag and food sciences, research and related career opportunities. Applications are available in the conselors' office and are due April 11, 2008. The camp is a six week camp running from June 7 to July 18.
Texas A&M
