Brian’s Hunt By Gary Paulsen
My favorite book is Brian’s Hunt. Most girls will not like this book, but boys should.
Brian has a canoe and a bow with lots of arrows for hunting. One night he is sleeping in his canoe when hears the whimper of a dog. The dog is wounded very badly. Brian uses a needle and fishing string to stitch the dog up with 23 stitches. Now he has two mouths to feed.
Later, Brian goes to another camp. When he gets there the book starts getting really good. I hope you will read Brian’s Hunt and enjoy it as much as I did. I would give it a 5 on a scale of 1-5.
