Mrs. McFarlain graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. After working with the public for 3 years she decided to go back to school and get her teacher certification. She is currently enrolled at Southwest Bible College and Seminary and is working on her Masters in Christian Eduaction. This will be her 7th year at LJH. She is also the Cubs for Christ sponsor.

Mrs. McFarlain is married to Scotty aka Coach Mac. He is the Art teacher at the High School and also coaches tennis. He is the sponsor for Lions for Christ and the Art Club.

Mrs. McFarlain has five kids. (Nicola, Sheldon, Kaden, Caraline, and Gavin) After God, Family is Mrs. McFarlain's top priority and love.
